Hi, I'm Kendall Ashlee Brown, but call me Ken.
I am a video producer for Press Association and a recent graduate of City University in London, getting a master's in International Journalism. Before moving across the pond I attended Oral Roberts University where I received Magna Cum Laude with a major in International Relations and a minor in Writing. Originally from Dallas, Texas, I moved to London in 2021 to get my master's and fell in love with London.
I have a broad range of writing experience, from research papers and newsletters to lifestyle, news pieces, and theological reviews. As well as experience in broadcast, newsrooms, magazine work, and I have been a poet since the age of 13 and taught highschool for a year before moving out to London.
When I was seven years old, my dad read to me The Chronicles of Narnia, and ever since then I've dreamed of the day I could move to England. 23 years later, I did it. Not the first time I've lived in England though. When I was 20 I attended The University of Oxford in Oxford England for a study abroad semester. I got into Wycliffe Hall and spent the better parts of 5 months studying literature and creative writing at Regents Park College and Lady Margaret Hall while living in a manor on Headington Hill.
I have many experiences working abroad such as I spent a month working in different locations around Greece and later traveling to Israel to do an in-person historical study experience with other students. These are only a few of my ventures both abroad and in the states that have allowed me to meet many people with different backgrounds, and cultures, and expand my own worldview.
As of today, I am living in East London, with two flatmates, focusing on my writing career, and working as a video producer at Press Association (PA).
I'm glad you are here reading along with me.
