A long goodbye 

A long stare

Invisibly 

Without warning 

with a little

Torturing 

I asked the monuments and statues 

I passed 

Had they ever seen lovers as sad as I?

Or as happy as I was

But their history they don’t betray

as they have nothing to say

You say I need to sleep alone
